Easter Break Road Trip! pt. 2

We finally got to Jock's house.. after what felt like a million hours in the car. His parents also made us steak for dinner. I had more steak during this road trip than I have had in quite a long time. We played a board game after dinner, which was pretty fun. I don't remember what it was called, only that me and Jock (because we were on a team together) kicked some ass.


In the morning.. We went on a hike to this placed called the Sawn Rocks. As you can see in the picture there.. it literally looks like someone came by and sawed the rocks off the cliff. This here is Bex, Liam and Me. The three road trippers. It was heaps of fun. Except that it was raining slash drizzling on us as we were walking back. But the best part about walking back was that we went for a bush walk. As in we didn't walk back on the paved trail, but followed the river bed/stream bed for a bit, and then climbed up a hill and walked back on the trail after that. It was actually quite a bit of fun, even though we were only at Jocks for less than 24 hours. We got back from the walk and had some leftover dinner for lunch. It was actually pretty good :]

After we left Jocks, we headed down to Emma's in Quirindi. When we got there, we took a bit of a nap and then headed over to Tamworth, which is about 45 min from Quirindi. In Tamworth, we went to see a movie. We saw "She's Out of My League" which was actually totally different than what I was expecting. It was actually enjoyable and funny. I honestly thought it was going to be quite stupid. But it was enjoyable. After we finished the movie we met up with Clint (because he lives in Tamworth) and went to the Tamworth lookout for a bit. It was actually really nice. We got to see the entire city of Tamworth spread out before us. At this point it was quite dark, so it was just the lights that we saw. But it was still really pretty to see... After Clint gave us the night view tour of Tamworth from the lookout, we went back to Clint's house and we got to meet his parents and his girlfriend AND we got a tour of his house. It was a pretty nice house, it was pretty cool. Liam was really excited because Clint has approx 800 PS2 games. And Clint is a guy. I'm pretty sure that Liam was fed up with hanging out with two girls. Poor Liam haha.. Anyway.. After we left Clints, we went to get dinner. Which was Chinese food. And omg, it was delicious Chinese food. I still have a craving for General Tso's from China Wok on College, but this food was delicous. We then proceded to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail (one of my favorite movies) and I may or may not have passed out in the middle of it. I got a good nights sleep that night. It was pretty amazing :] Anyway, we went for a hike in the morning and I got to see some real live actual Kangaroos!! Yay! I don't have any actual pictures of them because they were too far away. But I saw them hopping!! IT WAS SO COOL!! :D

After the walk, we took a nap and then drove back to uni. We stopped at the chip place in Aberdeen simply because they were so good. Mmm... I actually want some right now :]
